Tipping between 8am and 11am?

So to go along with all the other insane tipping threads and flame wars, what do you guys think about tipping on a 2/4 limit holdem game with a 1/2 kill at $20 in the pot between 8am and 11am. Do you use quarters, halves, dollars, pennies?

How about 4/8 with a full kill or 10/20 with a half kill?

What about if the game is 4/8 badugi and it's short handed with no rake?

Do you hate the dealer for dealing the game or just because they gave you a bad beat and do you tip them less now because of it?

Probably late this summer. Games are just too damn juicy here for me to leave. Really, the worst HE players in the world are in Louisiana....except maybe for the Heartland Poker Tour nobs.
