Default $6 45 man Stars turbo A6o shorthanded

Getting down to a crapshoot. I've had the overall chip lead for about a half hour now and have been running over the table during shorthanded play. No significant reads on my opponents since they haven't seen a flop against me at the FT and I didn't play with them earlier.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t1600 (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB (t25120)
BB (t10280)
Hero (t25875)
Button (t6225)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t3200</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to t10205</font>, Hero calls t7005.

Based on the novice type questions I'm asking, it's obvious that I don't play turbo MTTs all too often. I normally played the $4/180 and was going to start playing the $10/180's before they were replaced by the 180 turbos.

What's the range for calling here? Any connectors? Kx, Qx, Ax, 22+, any two ten or higher?

I would consider folding the A6 here, cause you are likely to be dominated - yes i know you get 1:2.

I would call with A8+,KT+,QJ,some more SC and any PP.

Wait a minute, is that a min. raise pf? Shouldn't the standard here be 4000-4800? I call BTW you are getting 2:1. Villian is likely to be shoving with Ax+,KT+,QT+ in a 45 man $6 turbo. Also even against a tighter range then that you are getting the right price vs your equity.

Add to that the $EV in taking someone out and the fact that you are not busto if you lose. I call.

Yes. Min-raises were enough to steal the pot preflop at this table.

Normally, I'd use 4000. But if 3200 does the same thing 4000 will do, then I'd prefer saving the 800 if I'm stealing with air and get caught.

Anyways, he had KK and I missed. I finished in 2nd despite losing that pot. The BB donked off a huge (for a turbo) stack with JTo after SB raised PF with KQo.

I don't really like the minraise with the #2 stack in sb, esp since a larger raise will make it an easier call when the shorty shoves . But that's neither here nor there, call. These guys can have some crazy desperation ranges. I have seen players fold 25 hands in a row then try to resteal with no FE with J7...
