Are you saying that because it was micro stakes, that he couldn't have been dealt rolled A's? Because I'm not quite sure what one has to do with the other. Or, were you implying that you didn't read him for that hand because if he did have rolled A's, he wouldn't have reraised 3rd...? Speaking of being rolled up, though, what if you had rolled 9's in this hand opposed to the hand that you were dealt----would you have played it any differently on 3rd?

I don't complete on third. You've got a bunch of big cards behind you, and you don't want to be facing the field with two bets. I think that limping and raising on the back side if there is a bunch of callers is a much better game-plan. As played, I would be much more inclined to jam in a five-way pot than in a three-way pot. I'm fine with the rest of it.

i love that you did this with paint behind. the clarity of how 4th-7th can now play shouldn't be underestimated.

My standard play with this hand is to complete it, and just call the Ace's raise on third. I pretty much always complete the bet when I come into the pot in a micro-stud game, unless I am sneaking in with junk in last position.
Andy's limp-reraise may be a little better. Mostly, I just want to put some money in against what will typically be junk hands. Once he re-raises you, I would typically just call. He usually has Aces, and your hand is not really a money favorite 3-ways. Raising isn't costing you much though. Mostly you're just transferring money from the J upcard to the Ace upcard. Do whatever floats your boat. 4th is fine, although you hate to see the Jack get driven out, since he's the dead money you're getting value from. If you had just called the raise on 3rd, you could check-raise 4th and get extra money in with a real edge. That's the value of just calling the raise on 3rd.
