10/25 at Foxwoods.

I just lost the 2 biggest pots of my entire life, in a span of 3 hands.

I forgot, there were 3 hands I folded after the first one, before I went back to my room to get more cash, so it was actually in a span of 6 hands.

Hand 1:

Guy I've been getting way the best of without showdown, so far this session, straddles UTG. He has a little over $6k and I cover.

I raise to $200 with 7h8h in 2nd position and the BB and him defend.

Flop is 646 with two clubs. Checks around.

Turn is an offsuit 9. Check. Check. $425. Fold. $1500.

I decide he's bluffing to get back at me, and I'm gonna shove over any river bet. I call.

River is a 6. He bets $1000. I shove. He calls with T9o.

I fold 2 hands and then go to my room and grab $9000 and come back.

I post and the same guy is straddling again and I raise to $250 with A6s. Everyone folds. Funny jokes hahaha now we're even hahaha.

Next hand I get TT and raise to $100 (no straddle). Button calls. He has about $8500 and I cover. Flop is JT6 with two diamonds.

I bet $200, he makes it $625, I make it $2k, he calls.
Turn is an offsuit 5, I bet $3000. He shoves for like $3300 more. I call. He has JJ. River is a not T.

I smile and say I guess I'll just quit now and rack up and leave.

Worst part of all is for the session I ended up losing $9767, so I was like $250 away from a nice badge of honor (woulda been my first -5 figure session/day). Instead I just lost a [censored] of money.

Yea sorta. It obviously makes a 6 much less likely, which is good. I figured on the turn he was straight bluffing a lot, or possibly had something pretty big like a 6. I just kinda felt like he had nothing to be proud of. The $1000 river bet is kinda confusing. Meh. I dunno.
