Default Canadians....what\'s the best way to combat the stupid US dollar

So the CDN dollar is at around 94.3 US. Some of us are losing lots of money because of this. I have my BR in a US currency ING acct making 3.5% (i think). The forecast on the radio is that by then end of the year, CDN dollar will be on par with US. If so, that's another 6% we lose just by keeping our money in US funds. Is it wise to convert everything right now and at least potentially save 6% or is there a smarter solution?

Why do you say that? Interest rates will surely go up soon with the recent reports on core inflation and GDP growth, and that tends to drive up the currency as well.

I've seen forecasts with areas that I certainly don't agree with, but the dollar continuing to go up in the short-term is highly likely.
