Re: 77 deep 25/50
I dont understand why you dont raise on the flop. you have a great hand that is well hidden. with 78 of spades on the flop if you raise to 1250 or maybe just raise the pot. but either way your increasing the pot size with a good hand. there are a lot of scary turns that could come so without the raise on the flop your putting yourself in a very tough spot no matter what hits on the turn.

Re: 77 deep 25/50
Duuuuuuuuude with these big stacks I can't stress enough how important a flop raise is here.
As played, push. Your hand range has alot of draws in it from his POV, he could be on alot of air type hands that can outdraw you with a gay straight, and you may even get some calls from worse hands. I highly doubt villain has a set/straight here, he doesn't want to see the turn go c-c. |

Re: 77 deep 25/50
Mez,
you should really convert the hand. THe stack sizes/pot sizes are kind of important here. I didnt really take the time to add everything up before now. I think you're at the point now though where you should just shove oh, and raise the flop this deep. this isnt the time to get fancy |

Re: 77 deep 25/50
I call. If river pairs board im definitely not folding because I think JT probably makes up a decent % of his range. If river blanks I just guess if he pushes, I think you probably want to lay it down though.

[/ QUOTE ] Strassa, I agree but I don't think j10 is that huge because I don't think this player opens J10o utg+1 here. Flop is fine because you need to be making both plays a % of the time. However, I agree that we should mostly be raising. |
