doesn't matter how good he is. when he continually pushes himself to play with one or two buyins you'll go broke 100% of the time. skill doesn't even come in to it.

Eh, you don't know who he's borrowed from. He says it's from friends, and the ludicrously high rate of interest was his suggestion. Another symptom of the distorted gambler's mindset: he thinks he is going to win so much he'll have no problem paying it back.

Instead, he'll be four grand in the hole, with no job and finding it impossible to pay his mortgage, his friends, or - and this, no doubt, is the only bit that matters - play poker.
