Default You were supposed to raise more

Villain is 40/15/2 after 40 hands. I raised villain's lead, fully ready to call a shove. Given stack sizes, I really expected the only re-raise size to be a shove, but then he min-raises me. Am I good here?

Could very well be KQ AQ and could very well be 22-99-QQ

I hope you are betting $24 with all ur hands from the CO or you are giving a little information with that bet. That's a tough spot but I think you have to at least call or people are going to run over you. If you get some more hands on the villian you can find out if he donks with draws or only with top pair or sets or what.

While answering that question, can someone key in on this question:

Does anyone ever just call the flop with the Kh? I know it's not standard, but sometimes?. Discuss theory?

- If they have a set you can minimize lossses.
- If they have AQ maybe you can disguise your hand and I think they have to call a raise on the turn with AQ.
- If they have a draw you can let them continue bluffing and they might go ahead and 3 barrel you if you call turn.

Obviously player dependent, but any thoughts?
