I always kinda liked this guy. Sorry to see him go. His was the underdog, immigrant success story.

He was a solid NFL player. 7 years in the league is a pretty good run, hopefully he is walking away healthy enough to enjoy the rest of his life.
In many ways, the most enviable thing about a professional athlete's life is the amount of time and money they have to pursue other things after they retire.

I knew pretty much zero about dan nguyen, so I have no idea. but it does get annoying when a player retires and everyone says those BS generic comments just because it sounds right.

He wasn't the most talented player.

Look at Aaron Kampman of the Pack.
Not very skillfull but works hard to become a starter.

Now look Derrick Johnson very talented but not yet proven.
