i'm in a $5 one right now, the first one i tried
started with 1569, just hit the first break and we have 700 left. i REALLY dont think that just because the levels are longer these are going to take more time to finish.

what tourneys are these? are they brand new? [/ QUOTE ] as far as i know it is to test the new structure for the WCOOP, but i really hope this becomes the new standard for their tournaments, it makes them a lot more WSOP-like and gives the first level much more importance, in my opinion.

Dear Lee Jones, if you keep the tournament structure with long levels I will glady add stars to the list of sites I play at. Myself and MANY OTHERS have been searching for somewhere to play real tournament poker online.

[/ QUOTE ] but if there are less players in the tourney when it DOES hit the mid-to-late game stage compared to normally, perhaps it will balance out....i havent seen enough to be able to gauge how diffrent it will be

A good example is the Stars $300 which uses a different structure and commonly has FTs that last a couple hours.
