KK gets checkraised
villain here is 34.3/16.4/1.2 after 70 hands. he called someone a donk earlier in the session so he's at least familiar with some of the 2+2 terminology. i have such a hard time laying down KK and AA on undercard boards but thought it was prudent here. standard?

push for me [/ QUOTE ] hmmm...more often than not i'm getting stacked in these situations. i was thinking "big hand big pot, small hand small pot" and all that. he just didn't seem laggy enough to do this without a monster. i thought a 9 was very possible. |

Re: KK gets checkraised
The real problem here is what does the button have. HU, you might convince me to push. 3-way, I'm not as excited. Sometimes you have to fold the best hand and this may be one of them.
Unless you have a read that villain likes to raise paired boards against c-bets, then a fold isn't a bad option here. Somebody convince me otherwise...... |
