Epicurus - I'm not going to take the time to outline every post but there has been more than enough fence sitting, meta-banter, a lot of response
and little strong opinion, villagers that seem slapped on a list without reason. The only real consistance is his wanting to lynch fmxda. Now ninja
vote for Resnick.

KristieFix - same reasons as before also, flirtin talk spanned the whole day 1. Day 2 weak vote continued fluff followed by books talk.
Has never really posted a list, real reads, reasoning, etc etc.

The WTF Trio (FCBL, Resnick, Reno) - WTF

MDoranD - filed under shady. previously quoted post re: VR and Jenn is messed up because he states he gets his reads from two dead villagers. Obvious gap in logic since those dead villagers didn't have any more information than we did.

--------
VR- villager, way too relaxed to be anything else. I know I try to stay away from player based reads but when she's a wolf you can hear her
sweating bullets behind her computer from anywhere in the US.

I can deal with lynching anyone from above the dashes, listed in order of preference obv. My first two candidates especially since they're been pretty much out of any discussion.

Drzen,

[ QUOTE ]

The idea that he's saying that he has that read just because durron thought VR was a wolf is a bit farfetched though. He doesn't actually say that. If you're claiming that's the gap in logic, I'm not seeing it.

Keep in mind that DMK and Durron both thought VR was wolfy, and DMK said yesterday jgunnip was 2848593875% clear.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is basically all he says to support his wolves/villagers.

You continue to give the impression of someone who simply posts whatever he feels like without actually bothering to read what he's responding to.

ding ding ding

...which means eskimonk is a villager this game.

[/ QUOTE ]

I am hating metareads in this game, OH, but doesn't monk post the same way whatever his role?

[/ QUOTE ]
This is stuff you really gotta get away from.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why? Every game I've played, I've successfully found villagers using just about all in-game stuff. All the FPS [censored] served no purpose except to confuse the village. In the endgames, people insisting on metareads completely ignored ingame stuff and were wrong.

People change from game to game. Their lives change. They are busy one day, not so busy the next. They try not to be predictable, some of them.

[ QUOTE ]
Being player-specific matters so damn much. You read me and gt1t the same way, you're never going to get a good bead on anything.

[/ QUOTE ]

We're going to have to agree to disagree. Obv. you are going to be right to some extent, but you are exaggerating how much in my view.

[ QUOTE ]
And no one's unreadable (well, maybe shorty is, but he's not here).

[/ QUOTE ]

You can find people relatively unreadable.

And fwiw, monk is different in this game from any other I've played with him. How should I interpret that? In the other games, he had different roles. How do I think about that?

But he's not saying that's the reason he thinks it.

Anyway, [censored] this. I feel like I'm now stuck in the role of defending someone who could just as likely be a wolf as anyone else just because he agreed with some of the things I was thinking (proving LC right, which I hate to do). I do agree with you that it's bad not to give reasons.

I dunno. I think very, very highly of player-specificness. Everyone thinks differently. If you can get a bead on how everyone thinks, I think it helps a damn lot when reading people.

As for monk, you just gotta take note of what changes there are from game to game, see what he's like, see if you can any kind of consistency from game to game, etc.

This is what I believe, and I think it's right. People all think the same way when they village. People change the same way from village to wolf in most cases.

It works for me. Maybe I'm wrong though, and you listen to gt1t a bit, rely on logic heavily. But I think people vary from person to person as much as village to wolf. Not just FPS, or some stuff like that, but y'know, I don't expect the same thing coming out mets wolf and gt1t wolf (for example).

Also, I don't agree with gt1t much either, and he probably thinks very lowly of my last post. Note that we are keying in on entirely different things.

I'm not sure it makes your case. Your argument is mets village is very different from mets wolf. My argument is mets village can be different from mets village, so it's not good to rely on differences within the person's play. You might use the read, but I don't think it's anywhere close to conclusive.

We are agreeing that people cannot be judged by the same standard though. That's what we're agreeing on now.
