Default Atlantic City NLHE: Recommendations?

I'm looking to make my virginal trip to Atlantic City sometime soon, and I'm itching to enter a small no limit hold'em tournament, with buyins in the $100-or-less range. Any recommendations for the best casinos for this purpose? Any considerations I should particularly take into account?

Y'all let me know if I should have posted this in a different forum, too. Thanks!

When trying to decide if this is the right forum, simply ask yourself, is this News, Views, or Gossip?

Try the Showboat. Pretty good structures, and the tournaments are $100 or less. Others like Caesars and Hilton are also low buy-in, but the structures aren't as good (less play for your money, quickly becomes an all-in fest).

See a list of all daily tournaments here.

Second the Showboat for best tournament under $100 in AC. Pretty decent structure, no antes, 20 minute levels. The tournaments run 3 times a day, 11AM, 2PM, and 7PM, During the weekdays it is $53+$12, weekends is $85+$15, execpt for Saturday 7PM, which is $100+$20, but you start with 15,000 chips instead of standard 10,000 chips.

For [censored] and giggles, try the "Midnight Madness" tournament at the Taj.

I would say Caesar's AC but after this long thread about whether BBJ's are worth the rake...I am not so sure...but in my opinion you can find a lot of good games at Caesar's.

And another one for Showboat. Nice tourneys, nice room, if a little small. Taj is right next door if you want something different.

I've also had good experiences playing at the Tropicana. (Get a poker club card while you're there: they offer a poker rate for the rooms.)
