Default Why my Total rake is not my MGR ?

I have just checked my Total rake 2398$ and my MGR 3017 $
for the same number of hands.

I thought it was the same thing, but it is not. Why ??

It would be helpful if you told us what site you were talking about.

Possible reasons, depending on the site, could be contributed vs dealt rake or deductions for deposits, store purchases, etc.

Not sure, but I suspect the total rake is the rake removed from pots you won and your MGR is the total rake taken from the table divided by the # players at the table.

I could be wrong.

Well, it is Everest. So no rakeback stuff. I am only confused by the difference.

I am pretty sure that you are correct.

MGR x %rakeback usally is very close to your rakeback payment (before any deductions for deposit fees etc)

I think you are talking about your Pokertracker stats.

In this case total rake (on the general info tab) is the sum of the rake that is taken out of the pots you have won.

The MGR (on the games tab) is the sum of the rake taken out of each pot you were dealed cards devided by the number of players in each hand.

So if you were not winning a single hand your total rake would be zero. If you were winning every hand it would be the total rake paied at your table. The MGR would stay th same (with the same potsizes).
