BB bets $6, Hero calls $6.

Final Pot: $24.75

What do you guys think about the way I played this? First of all, I just called the reraise preflop because I had position on him. Initially, I thought I might be good on the flop. I checked in case he had JJ or QQ in the hopes he might catch a "miracle" card on the turn. However, when he checked the turn, I started to get that sick feeling I was beat. When he bet the river, I thought about raising but decided it wasn't a good idea. I was just convinced he had AA or AK at that point. He's not calling a raise on the end with Ax most likely.

wow...just wow

why would you think you were beat when he checked the turn? What did you put him on, quad aces? Do you think he checks AK twice there? youre seeing things that arent there. Of course he calls a raise with AQ on the river, especially given how passive you played this. Please get some money in this pot at some point.

Agree w hebel- most people arent' slowplaying AA,AK on turn. I think he value bets JJ or QQ on river. I think I bet $6 on turn- either he as something or he doesn't and most river cards wont help him. You have a monster- build the pot!

I am 100% fine losing my stack here. The odds of you flopping FH and him flopping quads is a little less than 1:500000 hands (the probability folks calculated this for me a month ago when I lost in this situation).

Dude, this thought has no place in this hand. You have no evidence for it and so no basis to think it.

Now, in a funny way, I can see that you might be value-checking all the way (I don't agree necessarily, but I can see the argument), but please as played at least minraise or value-push river.

I play preflop the same pretty often.

My god...
I dont want to be rude , but you better play full ring.

Bet on the flop as much as possible to get some value from AJ-AQ
Bet the turn and bet the river , if he donk on the river raise him.

BET BET BET BET BET BET BET raise raise raise bet , everywhere.
IMO you should try to play for stack in this hand.

I don't mind checking the flop b/c this can be a scary board for the villain, and it might induce a bet on the turn. You have to bet the turn, and with no info on villain, I'm trying to get my stack in the middle.

pre-flop: 4-bt call a shove w/KK (never fold KK pf)

As played, bet flop and hope he holds Ax. The ONLY hand that beats you right now is AK (AA also, but not likely).

Villain raised pre-flop. So what? - he could do that with a ton of hands. AA, AK are only part of his range.

Checking behind on the turn is criminal. He could easily have AQ, AJ, and you're giving him a free chance to suck out on you.
