I have 2 NVIDIA GeForce 7100 GS.

I got 2 so I could add a third and fourth monitor if I wanted. Does having 2 help with games?

If you have 2 set up in SLI mode (or whatever it's called.. Can't remember if nVidia and ATI have different names for that or not) then it'll help, yeah. Either way, I think a single GeForce 7100 would run Portals just fine.

You should get another gig of ram sometime soon though. It's not that expensive.

THis is good advice. It wouldnt be too much to get another 1-3 gigs, and you would notice a huge difference.

The game is amazing...it's quickly becoming one of my favorite games the more I think about it. The fact that there is much more going on there than meets the eye is fantastic, and the end of the game is bliss. I just hope, now that I beat the advanced levels, that Valve releases some new levels (I have it on Xbox 360).

Evrything is running on the old half life 2 engine, so the system requirements don't seem that high. I'm playing it on a 3 year old laptop with no issues.

This game is awesome. I love the idea behind it, and the story line (? if that is what you call it) was cool as I went throught it.

My only gripes though, is that the game is very short, and extremely easy. I basically beat it while watching monday night football. If they came out with some more levels it would be great.
