http://www.t-nation.com/readArticle.do?id=1756065 i'm just starting hiit too and i'm easing into it slowly. there is a big paved hill behind my apartment (maybe 300m) and to begin with, ill jog a little to break a sweat, then perform the sprint 2 times on the first day with however much rest i need inbetween, 3 on the next day, 4 on the next day, until i get to 10 and then i will gradually decrease the rest times between each sprint until its down to what a regular hiit interval would be. slowly but surely... easy to overdo it with hiit, just gotta know your limits and be consistent at getting better. best way to lose fat though for sure, and it doesnt take that much time per day at all. |
