Default qq hand

this was a 40/80 hand a long time ago that i never posted:

bay101 40/80

a pretty good-aggressive player opens in the hijack with QQ. a loose-aggressive guy who has won a ton in these games over the past couple weeks 3-bets on the button. blinds get out of the way and hijack 4-bets. button calls.

flop: Q 9 8 rainbow

hijack bets. button raises. hijack 3-bets. button calls.

turn: 4 putting a flush draw

hijack bets. button raises. hijack 3-bets. button tanks and then calls.

river: 2 blank

hijack bets. button raises. hijack 3-bets. button 4-bets.

Well, it could be him thinking about waiting to raise a non-board pairing card. Either way, tanking then raising a complete blank always = the NUTZ. OP is button, no?

That's how I see it too. this is a variation on the other Bay 101 hand where the villain clearly has the 76 for the straight but half the replies want to go 6 or 7 bets.

I disagree. In the other hand, villain 4 bet, and CRed flop, which would mean that he would have to 4 bet PF with 67, and CR flop with a gutshot. Also, hero didn't 5 bet PF, so he underrepped his hand, and convinced villain he didn't have aces. This hand is WAYYYYYYY different.

No wonder; I can see why. People who flop sets give him way too much action when he flops the nut straight.
