My guesses first, so's I learn something.

1.- AJ9862 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 24569TK

AJ962-flush 86542 KT9.

2.- K9752 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] QQQ98852

K9752-flush 98852 QQQ may be a winning hand, perhaps +0.5 to +1; QQQ88 22557 99K is probably worse. 98752 in the middle is not strong enough.

3.- 22344689TTJQK

9TJQK 86432 T42? There is nothing else we can make in front (or back) that is worth breaking the 86-low for. I expect this is about a -1.5 hand.

4.- AAKQ998765432

AAQ86 75432 99K. The low straight isn't worth anything. This hand is probably slightly positive.

1.- AJ9862 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 24569TK

I picked the right hand but am a little surprised it's a small loser:

-0.52943 2h6h8hJhAh 2c4d5s6cTs 9d9hKc 12776
-0.312774 2h6h9hJhAh 2c4d5s6c8h 9dTsKc 12776

2.- K9752 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] QQQ98852

Right choice, wrong estimate here, and I missed the best QQQxx alternatives.

-0.974419 8h8sQdQhQs 2c2h5c7cKc 5d9c9d 12744
-0.967122 5c5dQdQhQs 2c2h7c8hKc 8s9c9d 12744
-0.362837 2c5c7c9cKc 2h5d8h8s9d QdQhQs 12744

3.- 22344689TTJQK

Straight in back is best, worth about -1 point.

-2.00101 2c4c9sTcTd 2d3h4s6d8h JhQsKc 12895
-1.55642 9sTcJhQsKc 2c3h6d8hTd 2d4c4s 12895
-1.06041 9sTcJhQsKc 2c3h4c6d8h 2d4sTd 12895

4.- AAKQ998765432

Right option but it is slightly negative (mid-pairs in back just aren't as strong as I keep thinking.)

-0.479677 5d6c7s8h9c 2d3s4h9dQs KhAcAd 12769
-0.296734 8hQsKhAcAd 2d3s4h5d7s 6c9c9d 12769
-0.288903 6cQsKhAcAd 2d3s4h5d7s 8h9c9d 12769
-0.274023 6c8hKhAcAd 2d3s4h5d7s 9c9dQs 12769
-0.268071 6c8hQsAcAd 2d3s4h5d7s 9c9dKh 12769

What software you've used to generate the best hands here?

It is software I wrote itself. The way it works is by building up a sample set of 'good arrangements' by iterating between two sets A and B. Each hand in A is arranged to score the most against the hands in B. Then B is rearranged to try to beat A, repeat, etc. This produces the sample set I use to compare individual hands.

There are a couple posts I made earlier in the forum about this experiment, and I post some progress reports at http://markgritter.livejournal.com/ (though some are locked posts)
