Last year the Borgata ran their Friday tournament on the day after Thanksgiving. It took up most of the room and the lists for cash games were unbearable until around 5 pm. Assuming the Friday tournament is a go, I'd avoid the Borgata until Friday evening. Other rooms should be ok, and Saturday and Sunday will be fine.

Trop has a 7:15 tourney. I think I might be playing in that one.

Play at the Taj. If you are talking about the 3:00PM tournament at Caesars, avoid it at all possible costs. I played it yesterday, only becuase it was $50, and I had never been in the Ceasars poker room (until yesterday, it was the only poker room in AC I had not played in). The tournament is a total crap shoot.

I was up to about 7,000 going into the first break, and then went card dead. I got knocked out in level 6, 17th out of 40.

Caesars 3PM - 5,000 starting chips, 20 minute levels.

L1: 25/50
L2: 50/100
L3: 100/200, ante 50
10 MINUTE BREAK
L4: 200/400, ante 100
L5: 400/800, ante 200
L6: 600/800, ante 300

I just came back from a 15-hr session at the Borg. Played 1/2 NL and 10/20 LHE, both were very good games. Hardly any wait times for either. The 10/20 had 2 main games going up until about 5am. We were in the high side too, surprisingly, so got to enjoy the "perks" (free fiji/red bulls).
