This is awful...
I usually see this when players think they're beat, or they don't know what to do so they bet... it might be the worst play in online poker (though I do see it live as well). It's a very obvious sign that the player does not understand the game at all.

In this situation, however, I would expect a value bet from him. The only thing that makes sense to me is that he was trying to appear weak to entice a raise... that or maybe he actually did misclick... but I'm skeptical on that.

Just call the river. Check behind if he'd checked to you. The pot is about the right size for TPTK against a loose passive opponent on a paired board. I don't want to get all in here on this river and a minbet is often a teaser trying to trap you into raising so he can then 3bet all in.

You know...that actually seems like a reasonable explanation, but I think he is just bad, and hit bet.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree. Since he bet the size of the big blind, I was almost certain it was intentional. He just clicked "bet."

I'll bet he meant to hit 600, and mistyped.
Happens to me occasionally...

I doubt it.

I'd be very tempted to go for thin value on the river, hard to say what I'd actually do, being a bit skewed by results...not posting them gives better discussion.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I didn't intend to post the results. I was using a new hand history converter that I'd never used before. Forgot all about it. Thanks for the feedback guys.

I'm value betting every time if checked to every time.

You should have raised the river (but only as much as you think a weak ace would feel like they have to call -- say a fifth of the pot) and folded to a re-raise, because this is a block bet for A-x way more often than it is a mis-click or a convoluted attempt at getting value out of an ace.
