I wish you would just concede the point that you really have no way to prove that most critics view VF as the best.

So you can provide two. Well if I provide 3 that say SC is the best?

Don't see Virtua Fighter anywhere on that page.

BTW you might want to recheck what you said about IGN and them scoring VF as the best fighting game ever with a 9.5/10 cause SC scored 10/10.

Gamespot says "Soul Calibur is the best 3D fighting game ever released in the arcades. Better than Virtua Fighter 3. Better than Tekken 3."

I'm just saying don't make blanket statements like "most critics think VF is better" and try to pass it off as the truth.

At the time of DC SoulCalibur II was probably the best fighting game ever. Since this is the best fighting game series (!), and not game, I think VF still wins.

For what it's worth...SCIII (the newest of the SC's got an 8.5 on IGN. Virtua Fighter 4 and VF Evolution got an 9.3 and 9.5.

SCII is the highest scored DC game.

Note that yours was VF 3...

If you take the SERIES AS A WHOLE, VF is considered the best 3-D fighting series.

So the newest SC has an 8.5 rating on IGN. Guess what, the newest VF game only scores an 8.8 whereas Tekken scores 9.3. Holy [censored] Tekken is the best fighting game series of all time according to most critics.

However, if it will make you happy to say to everyone you meet that VF is considered by critics to be the best fighting game series of all time on the planet you're from, by all means, carry on!

9.5 Gameplay
One of the best fighting systems ever made.

Most of the complaints were not about the fighting engine.

Also, it is higher scored than Tekken 5 on the PS3.

i dont mind that you like VF that much it is very good series, i just dont like to quote you said

it got a touch match up in MvC because the games are so different, however the whole reason we have this poll is to say what games we prefer as opposed to "Critics"
