Omaha/8 in Vegas this weekend?
I'll be in Vegas from Sat night until Tuesday morning and I'm looking to play Omaha Hi-Lo..relatively low stakes. I realize there are sites that list where games are being spread and such..however, wondering if you vegas vets could suggest a place to play...along with reasons why.
Thanks! PS - Staying at Caesars... |

Hate it when people say it, but...use the search function, or even browse a few pages down and find this thread:

The omaha games in this town are nothing but a whiny, bitchy, nitfest. The most unpleasureable time you'll ever have at a poker table is playing Omaha in Las Vegas. |

Re: Omaha/8 in Vegas this weekend?
I've played at Palace Station (3/6), Orleans (4/8) and Mirage (5/10). Palace Station is softest and not nearly as nitty as Orleans or Mirage. I think there's an O8B tourney at Orleans every Monday, if that interests you, as well. Buy-in is something like $65 w/ $30 add-on and a reasonable structure.

Avoid this tournament like a plague. Structure is terrible and between rebuys and add ons, not a good value. Thursday night and Friday noon tournament are much better.
