This is kinda ridiculous, let's see their proof for this.

None is coming, and you know it. Heck, Adam Small already called it a "happy ending". Its over, and all is right again with the world.

All,

I just watched the tourney video and skimmed this thread. I think one thing some of you are not considering is maybe that POTRIPPER just has really good "poker sense" which means that he has a good feeling for when people are weak and strong.

El D,

We have carefully considered that, as well as the possibility that all of the information we have received is part of an elaborate hoax, and have concluded that we are unlikely to be sued by Absolute if we revealed the results of our investigation at the present time.

What a joke.

New MSNBC story:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21381022/

The interesting part, supposedly from an Absolute spokesperson:

[ QUOTE ]

The cheater made no attempt to make off with his illegitimate winnings — estimated at between $400,000 and $700,000 by one victim — but was an employee of AbsolutePoker.com who hacked the system to show that it could be done, said a spokesman for the company, who spoke with msnbc.com on condition of anonymity.

“This is literally a geek trying to prove to senior management that they were wrong and he took it too far,” he said.

[/ QUOTE ]

Anticipating skepticism...

ahem....if he was only trying to prove that it could be done, then why frame Scott Tom? And for that matter, why was there any need for chip dumping?

My three year old tells better lies than this.

[/ QUOTE ]

True this sounds weird, but on the other hand, the way Potripper played suggests it was a guy who wanted to prove something/get caught. Lets get an insider in the investigation so we can learn more

It's pretty clear that Adam Small is absolutely biased.

the other thing that's completely glossed over are the HSP hands by greycat, steamtroller and doubledrag- all the focus seems to be on the one tourney played by potripper.
