my stop loss is generally at about 5 BI per session. At that point i usually at least take a break and make sure i am playing ok quickly, by reviewing key hands.

obv as many of you know, i have thrown this stop loss idea out the window before, but its really easy to follow it when you arent running poorly.

If i lose more then 4-5 i start to feel very frustrated and then you just gotta quit. Those guys with huge losing days probably tilted away alot, missed alot of value and called bets they shouldnt. So its burning money if you keep playing.

Allthough i once had a -9bi day, from then on I pretty much started using the stoploss thing.

This was sunday, playing 3/6 and 5/10. Not my biggest one-day swing in buyins, either up or down, but it's right up there in both.

Fortunately I don't tilt when I lose.

I play about 25/21 and the most I have lost in a day is about 4-5, which was part of a 6-7 bi downswing(my largest in 100k+ hands) Obviously not tilting is by far the most important thing in not having large downswings (and only playing the donks at $200nl, lol).

4 BI Down (Yesterday yuck)
8 BI Up.

But I only play a max of 1,000 hands per day.

you need to learn to control your emotions instead of stoploss. Personaly I think stoploss is bad.

my best day was last saturday with +13bi at NL200 over 3.5khands
My worst was -15bi at NL100. I had several minus 4-8 buyins but I always came back and pwn the session.

Stoping in the - feel so gross tbh. But making it back even make you feels so proud/good even if you make 0$.

i set a stop loss at 4 buyins, i had my first -4 buyin day in a log time yesterday and felt pretty good about quitting because money that you don't lose is as good as money that you make
