Stars 5400 FPP tournaments
I've read numerous times that these are the best option to spend your FPP points on if you are able to win at them.
So let me see if I understand this corectly, I spend 5400 FPP points and if I get in the top 4 I win a seat in the Sunday million, which I can then sell for cash? How does one sell the seat for cash? From what I understand you get T$$ or something like that which can be sold for 95% of their value. How do you sell the T$? So if I have my calculations right instead of buying the $1,500 cash bonus for 100K FPP points I can purchase 18 5400 FPP Tournaments. If I can finish in the top 4 in 8 of the 18 Tournys I am ahead $134 and anymore then that is gravy? $215 x.95= $204.25 x8 =$1,634.00 Or is it based on $200 and not the sitting fee? Also is 95% accurate for selling the T$$? |

Re: Stars 5400 FPP tournaments
You can usually get $213 or $214 for T215.
You can sell them in the thread in MTT Community called, T/W marketplace or something similar to that. |

Re: Stars 5400 FPP tournaments
there is a thread in the MTT-Community forum where 2+2'ers sell T$ and W$ for cash with each other.
Since the transfer is done via Stars it's perfectly safe. Pretty sure the rate for T$ is closer to 99% actually. Also, you can just use the T$ for whatever tournament you like. If you are going to play any tournaments anyway you can just hang onto them and do that. Personally, I sometimes feel like playing some SNG's so I just hang on to my T$ and get my cash for them through those. |

Re: Stars 5400 FPP tournaments
is it really that easy to cash in ~50% of the SNGs you play? I would think 20% - 30% is for sure doable, but unless these are super soft, 50% seems a little unreasonable

Re: Stars 5400 FPP tournaments
There are 10 players. The top 4 players get the seats.
So if you are an average player than you should cash in 40% of these which still gives you a better return than $1500 for 150k points (however this is not including all the time you have to spend actually PLAYING in the darn things). For a good player I would think that 50% is very possible and the tourneys wouldn't even need to be exceptionally soft for such a rate. |

Re: Stars 5400 FPP tournaments
the 5400s are very soft. best use of fpps imo. i play them all the time and have ~ 40% cash rate (23 stts sample size)

Re: Stars 5400 FPP tournaments
40% is the cash-rate you should have if you're an average player.
So if the fields are so soft (which I believe they are) then you are not running quite up to expectation (not surprising with such a small sample-size. |

Re: Stars 5400 FPP tournaments
Another benefit of the 5400 FPP sats is that you get the T$ immediately. If you play a lot with a healthy bankroll I suppose it doesn't matter, but if you need a bankroll boost it's nice to get the cash immediately instead of having to clear 7x in FPP points.
I recently was down to my last few dollars and was in danger of going bust before clearing a regular FPP bonus. I cashed in both a 5400 and 2700 FPP sat which came in very handy. Paul |

Re: Stars 5400 FPP tournaments
these are pretty soft, however you still need to run decent to cash in them, i think i lost like 5 or 6 straight all to beats recently. definitely a good choice, but obv not gauranteed cash.

Re: Stars 5400 FPP tournaments
50% is doable. There is usually one or two that eliminate themselves playing stupid and one or two who get bad beat. After that it's waiting for the blinds to get big and start pushing.
Like others have pointed out be prepared for big swings. I've had a couple of times where I lost 7 or so in a row. |
