OP didn't do anything wrong. You want what you want.

Also, this:

You're not a jerk. She's way out of line for slowrolling the kid.

[/ QUOTE ]
Isn't a slowroll supposed to involve a winning hand?

didn't get the love it deserved.

Anyway, I told her the truth (as nicely as I could, I liked her but wasn't looking for a relationship with children) and didn't want to take it farther.

[/ QUOTE ]
Poorly played. You're supposed to SIIHP 3-4 times, *then* tell her that you aren't interested.

i pretty much agree with Edge34.
It was certainly not the first time that she got rejected because of the kid. So I guess she tried to have you get to know her better before she let that out. That's probably because she liked you and she could see you as a new relationship. She probably assessed the situation in the wrong way. So when you turned her down, she was completely disappointed, because she probably hadn't expected this. So she treated you like a jerk. But it's obviously not your mistake. And I think it's the right thing to tell her upfront instead of taking advantage of her. Because if she had just wanted fast sex, you would probably have banged her on the first date and that would have been it.

You're not a jerk but,

single moms = sex on the first date in a stretched out box

FYP

You'd be surprised how well that thing bounces back. A woman who was tight before is still going to be tight.

Regardless of my feelings towards her being with child, I would be annoyed by the fact that it didn't come up sooner. I understand hiding the kid may be a good idea in her eyes, but it's weird or something imo.

FYP.....you could have said single moms are like free hookers. I do hope a few more "values" creep into your life.

NEVER feel guilty about not wanting to assume responsibility for someone else's mistakes.
