I am sure you will be disappointed to know that our forum expert on all things poker, Mr. HIV, disagrees with you Stinkypete.

Seriously though, how can anyone really know the answer to this question without a ton of experience playing against both of these guys as well as watching them play each other and knowing their hole cards for a bundle of hands?

meh. can't win em all. just goes to show...go w/ your gut. immediately after reading i thought A9 but then said, "wellll, lets go w/ one lower"

it's kinda cheating though given the commentary. we know he lost. we know he 3bet pf, we know he wanted opponent to fold a pair so he had to have a decent A hand.

anyways, not necessarily tilt, but a flimsy explanation if what was said about the situation was true. not enough calls those streets and then bets and folds to a c'r there even if it only has to work 1/5 of the time.

I have a ton of experience WATCHING tlk poound on benyamine and play ivey pretty evenly, and destroy anyone else who tried to take a shot at him.

I also know lisandro has done well in NL tourneys and PL omaha, and watching him play limit I have noticed he is a bit too tight and dataminers have him down several hundred thousand in the 1k/2k game.

Also, have you played 1k/2k before?

I think you are all discounting that the check-raise is for meta-game reasons. I believe he knows he is getting called and is doing it to set up future plays. Not because of tilt or any other reason. He figures he may take it down and that if he doesn't its great for meta game.
