any site which is primarily a sportsbook which also offers poker and casino on the side, asking for password over the phone is standard and nothing to worry about. this is how they record and confirm voice wagers which is the majority of their business.

as others mentioned, you may not have to give your password if you use live chat or callback service. but it is almost never a security issue.

I was very doubious about this but eventually disclosed it via Live Chat. I guess its no different to disclosing a PIN over the phone.

Same thing happened to me. My rep was also Peter. He also claimed to have previously lived in the town in which I live. Very unsettling.

But I also concluded that, while shady, it was probably fine from an accredited site. If it was the rep himself acting corruptly, there is plenty that they could do with my name and address that they wouldn't need my password for. I am fairly relieved that I went busto on the bonus so that I do not have to worry about a cashout.

I thought I'd give an update.

I found out that the password asking was a normal thing for them and ended up depositing and playing for their casino bonus. everything went fine. I talked to 3 different CS ppl and they all asked the password so i don't think it was just peter who does that.

Cashout was very fast(4-5 hrs) after request

This would have made me even more wary of their security structure.

I'm definitely not going to. I was just wondering if there is something else going on and what your experiences were with this site.

There are few threads in the bonuses forum about ninecasino and no one there mentioned anything like this so that's why I'm asking.

[/ QUOTE ]

actually, there are 2 or 3 of them that mention this, but, yeah, they did this to me too. I thought it was creepy, but gave it up. Cashouts were very fast, though (like 30 minutes to neteller).

This happened to me, also. It's horrible policy by Nine. I felt so violated when I gave him my password via live chat. I asked him how I could change my password and he said 'just let me know what you want it to be and I can change it'. I've never had any problems with them and it's been a year or so since I divulged my password. I rarely play there, though.
