Default Bob T.\'s Margarita recipe.

Ok, use all ingredients to taste. I'm not going to tell you to use only one shot of tequila, if that isn't going to work for you.

Juice some lemons and limes. I usually use a 2-1 ratio of limes to lemons, but like I said to taste. I think lemons taste a little better than limes, so I don't use all limes like some recipes do. Strain the juice, or get the seeds out some other way.

A touch of almond extract. (enough so that you know its there as the cook, but not enough so that others can identify what the mystery ingredient is.)

A little brown sugar, or real maple syrup. Not enough to overpower the citrus, but just enough to take the edge off the sourness.

About one fourth of a shot of grand marnier/drink.

About a shot of tequila/drink.

One option that works well espeically when served at parties, is to add a slice of pineapple, it makes the drink a little fruitier, and sweeter.

Put it all into the blender with some ice, or, just serve it over ice.

Later,

BT.

PS. Try using those little Key Limes, they taste way better if you can find them. They are not as bitter

Oh yeah, that's right, I think you can find them in the asian stores if not in the regular stores. That's what my wife buys when she buys limes, and so that's what is in the refriderater when I decide to make margarita's.

See, posting this did lead to some discussion .

Blargh. I get AK 5 times, KK 3 times, QQ & JJ once apiece, and I cannot get any action in the FTOPS ME. Out in 1069th place, 500 & change short of the money, when my last AK of the night loses to 76s on the river (all in preflop, he had to call for pot odds).

Not like I could've used $336k.

if you aren't going to cap the flop, why not c/r the turn?

I might have capped the flop, I forgot who did, but I know it was 4 bets each street.

CO was laggy though and MP1 knew this, plus his PF 3bet +flop raise right in to a coldcapper says a lot.

too much action?

i have 55 in MP. 2 limpers, i limp, button limps, bb checks.

Flop: Jd6c4s

checks to me, i bet, folds to bb who c/r, i call, rest fold.

Turn: 5d putting up a flush draw

i bet, he raises, i 3bet, he calls.

River: 3rag

i bet, he raises, i 3bet. okay or too much action? what if capped? he's 24/15/1.75

next hand

villain is 35/9/1.4 over a small sample; maybe 50 hands.

i raise KdJh in the sb versus villain in the bb. he calls.

Flop: QsTs7h

i bet, he calls

Turn: 9h

i bet, he raises, i 3bet, he calls.

River: 3s

i bet, he raises, i 3bet. okay? what if capped?
