The people in this comp seem like pretty stand up type people so I think poles are fine. It'd be pretty wack to create gimmicks to try and win. (Plus you'd need to create heaps)

24-12-8 or 24-16 would probably be better- I just threw out the wildcard voting at the end as a way to do it.

And pole voting probably is worse than posting in a thread.
Thread method also brings inherent potential bribery and other coercion which is good for BBV imo.
