Default TPTP getting scary action

Early in a stars $20/180 (thanks for the advice Soulman and others). Villain unknown except that his flop bet makes me think he's a bit of a donk (or he's a nth level thinker vastly superior to me)

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP3 (t1305)
Hero (t1620)
Button (t1150)
SB (t1520)
BB (t1595)
UTG (t1865)
UTG+1 (t1315)
MP1 (t1805)
MP2 (t2785)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP2 calls t30, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t90</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP2 calls t60.

Flop: (t225) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets t30</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t150</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises to t270</font>, Hero calls t120.

Turn: (t765) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets t660</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: t1425

Right, now let me just steel myself for the flaming I'll probably get for folding this.

In EP, people love to limp w/hands like KQ, and JQ because they know they aren't good enough for a raise, think they are too good to fold.

That being said, people do the same thing w/33 and 55.

It's a tough one. I'm not really sure how great the competition is in $20/180s. If it were at 4/180 or a 10/180 I would probably get it all in the on turn. I am willing to make risky plays early in these. A big stack early can lead to huge ROI in 180s.

This is a trouble spot for me as well ... I know that I would shove right over top of his reraise

it was his tiny suck bet and then min reraise on the flop that convinced me it's 33/55. I don't think I've seen someone play top pair like that before.

I shove this turn all day, we are crushing his range which is much wider than just sets/2 pr and include weaker queens and flush draws.

Your fold seems reasonable. In this situation tho i'm not sure I would have laid down the queen. I think, based on his betting, he had you down as bluffing. You are sitting in the favorite steal seat. His final bet suggest to me that he wanted you to fold. In this situation I generally try to do exactly the opposite of what my opponent wants me to do. If he had put in a small bet I would have been suspicious and folded. I don't flame anyone for the choice you made. I will say this. It was early. Blinds were small. You could have handled the loss and come back. Trouble is I suspect you would have won this one.

Quite possibly and if it is a bluff I think it's an extremely good one, but I'm thinking it's more likely he's seen my raise and call of his re-raise as willingness to go all the way and now he's going for as much value as possible.

Its definitely close since you have the Ad and the Qd is on the board. His limp, minbet, minraise line is really odd... I have no idea what to make of it from a typical 20/180 player but I really do not think thst it is a flush draw.

I guess it could be KQ but why would even a bad player think of playing KQ like this? Likewise for a midpair hand, why would he want to build the pot against you OOP?

I can't put him on a hand that you beat. I like the fold
