I would bet any college that is UW or WU or any combo of those two would be called "the dub" by fans and students.

I've heard people call us "U Dub" but they tend to be people I dislike.

I tend to go with UW in text, Wisconsin in speech. I don't know why.

I've never heard anyone who has gone there or lived in Seattle refer to the Huskies as anything other than U Dub.

You'd be radically wrong.

"U DUB" not "the".

I would point out that "Wazzu" is cooler than both.
