Re: nl100 turn insta c-minraise
Your turn play is only profitable if villain is a donkey who gets it in real light.

[/ QUOTE ] My experience at Full Tilt/Stars show that not enough people stack off with KJo or worse on the turn to make this your standard line against a villain who you only know has been limping a lot. Have you seen what kind of hands villain goes to showdown with? |

Re: nl100 turn insta c-minraise
its a weird spot with no reads on the player besides that he limps alot, after the turn your hand has showdown value, you want to practice pot control here... i think he wakes up with 5 or 77 more than he stacks off with a weaker king ch behind on the turn if he checks again than value bet.. if he leads riv i'd tank forever and probably call

Re: nl100 turn insta c-minraise
how often will he call a flop cbet with KJ. How often will he insta-minraise turn. I think the turn is a fold as played.
A turn check isn't a bad option. You can possibly get better value from small pocket pairs/sevens on the river. Betting is fine too, but it should be a bet/fold in general. |

Re: nl100 turn insta c-minraise
This is really ugly IMO, hoping he floated with kj high oop, hit his king and is playing it like the nuts. Betting the k isnt terrible since a lot of ppl interpret it as betting a scare card and call with a mid pp but when he check min-raises u - without a read stating otherwise - i would insta-fold. If u really wanna stack off (i wouldnt without a strong read) then i would call and call a river shove since then at least u can include maaaybe some reverse floats which r reluctant or some mid pps which he decided to turn into bluffs in his range.
