yeah i dont understand the problem, there is no reason villain should have a q, most often he got weaker overpair, draws or som kind of toppair hand. it may kill your immidiate action tho so checking behind to induce further action sounds like the perfect play.

I think I push here. Pot is 3K now and you very likely have the best hand. Many worse hands will come along for the ride getting 2:1, many of those hands will be making a mistake in doing so, others will be getting just the right odds to call, but hey, if you can get it in at ~65%, you're happy, and against villain's entire range, it's +EV now while quite possibly being a totally scary situation by the river (for potentially you and him).
