Default About the US online ban again

It seems that everyone has stopped talking about it because there are some sites like Stars and Full Tilt that still accept US players.

What happens when financial transactions to these sites are stopped by the banks or neteller in the next few months?

Has there been a work around figured out yet?

I think you're buggered.

Because the world has a few dodgy people out there, your government has decided you can't play online poker.

Or it's because your government has a few dodgy....

I forget...

Since it was around 4:00 am or so in the UK when he posted, I'm guessing he's a drunk 12-year old...

You aren't banned? I apologise. Load up Party later and we can have a game of heads up.

No, I was actually referring to the language in your completely nonsensical post.

There are many places in the works - however - I have heard two people now that work in the banking industry that have said they are basically ignoring The Bill . . .so far.

IF/when the poop hits the fan I'm sure there will be PLENMTY of work arounds that you will find here. No worries.

It will be interesting to see what happens. I think the thing that will scare off these big companies is this. If the government sees these 3rd party sites are still doing gambling transactions then the US gov will just cut them off from all US banking transactions all together. So if neteller were to say, F it we're just going to keep on keepin on them the US gov will say nope, you're cut from the US all together.

So for any 3rd party site to even risk doing gambling transactions they would have to be able to risk losing all ties with US banks. I personally don't see a way around it. The US gov will just tell banks they can't do business with ewallet providers that allow US residents to deposit with gambling sites.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Memento is the language police. Irregardless of whether anyone deems he is worthy of that.
