[/ QUOTE ] I'm not going to pretend that I'm sorry the Yankees are out of it, but you guys have a lot to look forward to, and regardless of how the Sox finish, this was a very exciting year of baseball, and I look forward to hating your team in future. I also have mad respect for Torre. He deserves better than Steinbrenner.

the last Yankee playoff series win was in 2003 - the Grady Little game. pretty crazy, considering (I believe) they have won more regular season games than anyone else from 2004 - 2007. 4 straight ALDS losses.
