Default Re: Where to fold top pair?

Is it too weak to just call down when he raises us on the flop?

If he has better ace he will cap (like he did) OR just call and raise us on the turn. I must fold to a turn raise, right? I lose 2 BB in this scenario and if he slowplays to the river, 3BB.

If he ain't got an A, he might even fold to a 3-bet (yes, that happens) or fold when we bet the turn. Not much reward there. But if we just call the flop raise, he might keep bluffing (or thinking he is value betting) the turn/river ad we can get at 2 BB from him, and we lose, lose max 2BB.

Bad thinking?
