Default QQ Tricky Hand ($50NL)

I dont' have any stats on the villian because I was playing on a PC without PokerTracker. I had not seen him get out of line yet though:

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $56.70
Hero: $50
CO: $48.45
Button: $155.25
SB: $7.75
BB: $71.15

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $2</font>, CO calls, Button calls, SB folds, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises to $8</font>, Hero calls, CO folds, Button calls.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($26.25, 3 players)
<font color="#cc0000">BB bets $16.5</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero ???</font>

He 3-bets you preflop, could mean top pair AA/KK or AK or something. With the three clubs on the flop, it's getting scary cause he showed you he has at least higher cards than your Q, it's only the questions whether they are are clubs or not.

I wouldn't gamble on it and just let it go. There are not a lot of hands you beat with this flop.

Does the bet after the flop seem weak to you?

Hard to say, but I'm thinking not. If he's got the AA or KK I'm guessing he's got the draw to the nut or second flush as well with that bet. I like folding better than raising.

fold the flop, then take some shots and hop in the chevy. get caught and get a friend to defend you, albiet ambiguously. i don't think there's a better line than this one.

Unfortunately this is a completely read dependant hand and your image matters. Knowing what you know I would fold but it is very close.
