Not much in the way of IT jobs out here, unless you go to work for one of the casinos or one of the banks. It's usually the casinos' corporate headquarters that are in need of IT guys.

Really not much here.

Harrahs recently changed their policy to allow employees to play poker. However the policy explicitly bars IT employees from playing at any location.

I work in IT security (not in LV) and I was standing in line for the seafood buffet at the Rio. There is a kiosk as you go in where you can buy meal tickets. One of the kiosks was displaying Windows Help and Support Center (instead of the buffet-ticketing application) and one of the links was "Run Windows Update." So I clicked on it, and after a while it came back and said, "36 Critical Updates need to be installed." So if you are a hax0r it would appear that Harrahs is prime hunting ground....
