Default PokerStars Conceirge Service Question

O.K., so I reached supernova status yesterday, and bought the conceirge service for 180,000 FPP. They asked for my phone number and said they will contact me within 4-6 weeks? Has anyone gone through this process; and if so, does it really take them that long to call you? When they finally do call you, how does the process go after that? What type of time frame should I really be looking at to get this whole process completed, and get my merchandise?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Bozeman -
Congratulaions on making SuperNova status. It usually doesn't take 4-6 weeks, but we want to be conservative in our estimates. Also, as you might imagine, the Christmas season is the busiest time for the SuperNova concierge people.

I know them personally and they're great folks. They will get in touch with you as quickly as they can and work like crazies to get you what you want.

Best regards,
Lee Jones

Is it possible to get gift certificates through the concierge? Or do they have to be actual items adding up to ~3k

Wow, thanks for responding so quick everyone, and Lee, thanks alot. mrTEA had one of my questions also, if I could request a gift card, or it had to be a specific item. I want a 50" LCD from either BestBuy or CircuitCity. I was wondering if I had to pick out the exact TV, or could get a gift card and just buy the one I wanted. I guess the conceirge will answer all of my questions when they call.

waiting for the call from conceirge seems a bit inconvenient to me and certainly not horribly quick.
Not the end of the world though, and I haven't done it yet myself.
Probably a much smoother process than what one could envision.

Hey, MicroBob, I have read many posts of yours, and enjoy reading them. I saw that you are trying to reach supernova also. How is that going? What games do you play, and how many tables at once?

I usually 9 table PLO8. I started really trying to acheive this in August, and have accumulated 90% of the points in the last 4 months. I am looking forward to the changes coming for next year, as I should be able to clear the 200,000 level no problem.

Thanks.
I'm just taking a little time off to surf-around on 2+2.
I'm out of town visiting family and have not played a lick in the past few days.

I still have about 18k points to go which should be fairly easy.

I'm playing mostly 3/6 and 5/10 limit 6-max on 4-6 tables.
But I've played a lot of other games too from full-ring, to NL to SNG's to MTT's.
