Default TT - Argh!

Button was pretty much unknown.

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, Button calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP2 calls.

Flop: (10.40 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button 3-bets</font>, MP2 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, Button calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: (11.20 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
MP2 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, MP2 folds, Hero calls.

Hmm, im not sure what im still beating, but was hoping to hit another heart on the river.

River: (15.20 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, Hero calls.

No heart, but 16 bets in so i call, pray and make a note.

Against an unknown I would probably fold PF.

On the flop- MP2 doesn't see a A (or K?) on board and so hits the loud pedal. You raise (?) and button comes alive.

I would have definitely folded on the flop- without seeing what the button was going to do.

River: "No heart". so what? The flush was probably made on the turn, by the button.

And if you did hit another heart on the river, were you not worried about Ah, Kh or Jh???

I would fold that after the flop's button 3-bet.

Clearly, after the turn raise its over. Staying in is just expensive.
In any case, please put the limit into your headline for the next post.

Pf is fine with me. After the flop 3bet, I'm certainly not convinced I'm beaten yet. This could still be a draw or some draw+pr combo. But I do think it's a good spot to just call and look for a safe (= not draw-completing) turn card.

Also, I think you can fold the turn. If you look at the available [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]s, there's very little that I can see him calling 3 cold with. 78s, 89s, 9Ts - all of those are impossible. Leaves utter trash hands like 34s or 57s or [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]s that beat you.

Folding preflop is rediculously bad. I mean you shouldn't be playing poker bad.

Folding the flop for one bet is bad.

Of course i would be worried. But if i had made a flush on the river - would you fold it getting 16 to 1 ?

Yuck.

You might have the best hand.

If you don't you are getting 18:1 closing the action and a T will usually give you a win.

Plus you have a couple weak back door draws.

I was thinking about putting that in or not - I guess I need a few thousand more posts to make such a statement looking good :-)
