i think this is quite close, and my answer would depend on how much i hated the player. but since i hate 90% of the people i play with, id probably shove. [censored] that guy.

Not specifically dissing the OP, but I've noticed a trend through the years and it's that 9 out of 10 posts on hand advice say "no reads" or "unknown villain". You can't always have a good read, or any at all, but somehow I'm starting to guess that not many people out there are using PT and other programs/services to maximize the amount of information they have about their opponents.

IMO, it's very close here. Without a read it's very difficult to get a good estimate of your FE if you shove, but it makes all the difference as to what the right move is. Your opponent folding 1 in 5 times vs. 1 in 4 vs. 1 in 3 clearly makes a HUGE difference in your chip EV if you shove. You'd also prefer to be in the BB, not SB, if you shove (kind of minor, but sometimes BB will wake up with a monster). I'd most likely fold here, but the circumstances don't have to be too different (i.e., just a small read on my opponent and in BB) for me to shove pretty quickly.
