I'd say you should play the 1.20$ STTs at Stars until you soundly beat them, play some more until you made your losses back and have a BR of 110$ and then move to the 5.50$ STTs.

Its not my first 50. I've actually been playing the 6.50's on stars and doing fairly well... just not as well as i would like. I brought my ROI from a -3% to 6% in the last month - month and a half (not like that is such a great accomplishment or anything because i still have -3% profit.. lol)

So i guess the answer to my question is i shouldn't be play at the 6.50 level and i should be playing lower??

If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time on anything lower. The raker is terrible at them lower stakes. Ideally thats not good bank roll management, but its worth the risk at this point.

The higher the levels you play, the better you have to be about bank roll management.

Yeah if you are running bad play some 1.20s but why do that if you can win some 5 dollars and be ready to buy back in if you go busto.

If you really don't want to re-deposit any more money..I would set up an accout at UB and play the 1.10's..

However, if you really think you can beat the 5.50's or 6.50's then I would just deposit more money.

i recommend depositing 600 (or as much as you want to double for free) at full tilt to get the bonus. while youre learning its nice to get the installments of 20 dollars every so often to make up for any losses. you can play the 6.50s there with a comfortable bankroll. they also have $2+0.25 tables.

and remember to sign up for rake back if you do.

I gonna assume you aren't able to just deposit any amount that you feel like.. so $600 is probably unreasonable. Its hard to tell where you are without a big sample size, but if you are able to redeposit if you happen to run out of money then stay at the 6.50s, if not or if it will be a big problem then drop down to atleast the 3.40s if not the 1.20s. Other than that I would recommend posting hands and reading and responding to other peoples questions and you should see a big improvement to your game.
