OK guys, I know nada about the NFL and am stuck in this pool so help me out here

not really "stuck" in the pool, but it's cheap and i feel like doing it.

would love some advice.

I like to check the schedule for the worst teams to see who they're playing. This year, Cleveland, Atlanta and Oakland would be my bad teams to pick against. Find the biggest disparity in a week and go with the favorite.

My other advice would be to not save teams for later use (usually you can only pick teams once in a season); better to win now and let others knock themselves out by holding Indy and picking longshot teams.

Good week 1 picks might include PIT (@ CLE, my pick for week 1), SEA (vs TB), and... that might be it in my opinion. If you're like me and see the Titans as generally awful headed by a Madden cursed QB, JAX (vs TEN) might be a good pick as well. Good luck!
