taking pieces of players (made a significant amount this year doing so).

Mike,

Curious about this. What type of players do you stake? Are they players who you know are good players and want to play higher than they are used to? For the most part it seems that players who win don't need staking, but I know it happens. Interested to hear more since you've been successful doing it. What type of deals do you arrange, how do you trust them, etc...

here's how it breaks down:
1212 hours
won $152,140
best month +43970
worst month -2047

games played (i was curious to see how this worked out), all games limit hold em unless noted:
40-80: 25%
20-40: 19%
100-200: 16%
15-30: 13%
60-120: 9%
nl hold em: 4.5%
30-60: 3%
200-400 or 300-600: 2.5%
other limits lhe, mixed games, stud, o8, etc: 8%

observations:
--i lost $8172 playing only 26 hours of non hold em games. expensive little habit. i do suck at these games but really want to learn them, however at $300 an hour i could probably take lessons instead of trying to figure it out on my own.
--i lost -5367 playing nl in 56 hours. in 2005 i won at nl over 100 hours.
--i made $162k playing limit hold em. over 90k was won at two limits 40 and 100. but at 60-120 my win rate was a measly $28 an hour over 106 hours.
--i played 551 sessions of poker, 30 of which were under .25 hours (waiting for another game usually), and only 6 were 10 hours or more. the longest session i played was only 12 hours.
--for the past 150 hours of play ive broke even.
--the most i lost in one session was $25k, and the most i won was $14k. i only won more than 10k in 3 sessions, and i lost over $10k 4 times.

Live poker is stupid as hell. I am going to kill myself if I have to play live. If a top player only makes 150k in a year at those limits. Plus the driving, waiting for a game ect. LOL B&M poker.

I know I've won you over $25k since August; where do I stand in the % of staking amounts won? You don't have to name names, but I'd like to know if I'm 2nd, 3rd, etc. I also have a 100% (I think 5-5 sessions) win rate.

did you ever get another shot at CrazyMike?

dude if i were good at online poker that is what i would do believe me. but my results are spotty at best. but playing live is easy with little swings and low bankroll required as a result. i envy all you kids who can make a million a year online. you should pity me and treat me to dinner in vegas.
