The worst move was PHing for Soto if Lou had no intention of then PHing for Floyd when they brought in the left-hander. We have like 928373 righties on the bench, ffs.

Also, I agree with everything said re: Jones being retarded. I hope his improved but still [censored] 2nd half doesn't cause the Cubs to keep him.

As much as I have loved Theriot this year, I have to admit he's a huge liability for us in the 2-hole right now. Put DeRosa up there, please, Lou.

Theriot has been killin us lately, theriot is an 8th hitter. the lineup should be
Soriano
Derosa
Lee
Floyd
Aram
Soto
Jacque
Theriot
P

I dont see why this isnt obvious; also, wtf is with letting Dempster pitch? seriously tho, Theriot is a liability at the plate, we really need an actual SS, that Arod rumor would spectacular. and our pitchers have this thing about not holding runners on 1st? seriously this team needs a kick in the ass or something

If they blow this, I hope Piniella gets fired. Then I hope they do what they should have done in the first place and hire Girardi. I hope the new ownership cans Hendry as well.

And yes, if the Cubs win the division, I will still stand behind all three of those statements. Because I hate Piniella and Hendry, and Girardi would have been a much better managerial choice.

Hendry is a [censored] idiot.

Piniella sucks, but the media made him seem like a draw that allowed us to sign free agents, maybe keep Z happy, etc. I can see how this was a good business move, despite him making lousy decisions in games.

Also, Brewers miss the best pitcher in baseball, managing to dodge him in a 4 game series, no less. And the Cubs, once again, get the only 2 decent pitchers in a 3 game series with Cincy.

We're [censored].

When my post count hits 1908, I will not post until the Cubs either win it all or lose.
