Remastered Blade Runner DVD Released Today

I know there is supposed to be a final cut next year, and a special edition with all 4 versions (theatrical re-release, this one, final cut, and not sure what else). But it sounds like the anamorphic transfer on this one is very good, might have to pick it up.

Why bother? Wait for the new version. You'll probably end up buying it anyways.

Yeah, you're probably right. But now I really really want to see the anamorphic transfer. The quality of the original is so bad, from what I hear the difference is night and day.
