Re: Push Bot Charts, Part II
I'm going to bed now, so someone will have to take over the mailingbusiness. The demand is very high, so it will yield a good profit if you are willing to put some time and effort into. But seriously, I think I got like 20 PM in half an hour.

Re: Push Bot Charts, Part II
Question. Let's take the "8 players left to act while you have A8s" box for an example. The numbers read (from left to right), 2.6, 5.4, 3.8.
So, can we take this to mean that pushing with an M of 3 against a tight table would be an unprofitable move, while pushing with an M of 3 against a loose table would be profitable? I guess, the bulk of my confusion here is why the three numbers go small, big, medium (in order) for this particular box. PS: Thanks, this is a great chart |

Re: Push Bot Charts, Part II
Also, jcm, I would be interested in seeing what the ranges you specified for the "loose" "ave" and "tight" table readings.
edit: nm, I see it's at the bottom of each page. I suck at life. edit again: But wait, I do have another question. Are we just assuming all players left to act have this range? For example, say I have M3 with ATo and 8 players left to act. According to this, it's a clear push regardless of how the table is playing. BUT, my question is, you say the "Tight" range is 66+, A6s+, A8o+, and KQs; however, this can't possibly be the range for the player immediately to act right behind me. You see what I'm saying? Like if I push with ATo here, no way in hell he's calling with A8o and 6 players left to act behind him. However, the BB is most certainly calling my push if it folds to him with A8o. You see what I'm trying to say? Talk to me. |

Re: Push Bot Charts, Part II
To save jcm some time:
"Yes" to your 1st question. Increasing chance of being called by a dominated hand would be my guess answer to your 2nd question. Not sure what the answer is to your last question, but my guess is the table assumes all remaining players have the same calling range. |

Re: Push Bot Charts, Part II
I'm pretty sure its the range of the player most likely to call you.

Re: Push Bot Charts, Part II
Another question. Let's take this HH for example:
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) MP2 (t3505) CO (t7213) Hero (t7509) SB (t5849) BB (t4659) UTG (t2683) UTG+1 (t8310) MP1 (t9270) Preflop: Hero is Button with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 5 folds. Hero.... My question here is, do I look at this chart as my M (of ~9), or do I look at this chart and take the M of the largest stack left to act in the blinds (in this case about 7.25) and look at that chart instead? Do you see what I'm saying? Since, I can't really lose 9 Ms here, only 7.25 Ms, am I to modify my calling number down to 7.25, or keep it at 9? |
