Default Follow up w/River Bluff?

I haven't been at the table long.

Villian had his stack before I got there.

I have seen him type "Megafish" into the chat on a few occassions. Not sure if he was talking about current hands or some past history. The only pots recently have been less than 100bb.

He keeps betting small and I think he has TP AT THE BEST. AQ, KQ, JJ, some draw.

I wouldn't think he's a 2p2er.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

UTG: $52.75
MP: $53.65
CO: $67.20
BTN: $182.45
Hero (SB): $71.65
BB: $33.20

Pre-Flop: K A dealt to Hero (SB)
UTG folds, MP calls $0.50, CO folds, BTN raises to $2.25, Hero calls $2, 2 folds

Flop: ($5.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 T (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2, Hero calls $2

Turn: ($9.50) 2 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $3, Hero raises to $14, BTN calls $11

River: ($37.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
[b]Hero

If you fire again, how much?
Is $20 enough? 25, 30, 35?

Thanks.

I just give up here. He called your big raise on the turn and the 9 really isnt a scare card except if you have KJ. I just see a bet getting called here fairly often.

Why no pre-flop 3bet?

I don't think you're going to get a fold here that often....pretty much only if he had diamonds I think.

Why try this turn check raise in the first place? I don't really see him folding. If it were a 2+2'er or something than maybe as your line would look really strong to them.

I don't like how you played this hand at all.

I 3b AK 150bb deep, sometimes I don't. Not a big deal.

I have a gutter and two overs.

Don't want to bomb the flop b/c he'll think I'm on the flush draw and shove 150bb or something.

His turn bet is so weak again.
I can't see him doing that with AQ.
So what does he have?

I don't even think he has TP at this point and I CR.

When he calls I'm thinking draw or some weaksauce PP jj-66 (minus the sets).

Thoughts?

Or maybe QJ...or maybe a T. And the straight draw got there on the river.

I just don't like it.

Bluffing with AK on this board is pretty bad IMO. Which means I do it a lot. You have showdown value against a lot of hands that bet weak on two streets, just call turn and expect check behind on a bunch of river cards and you scoop pot. He could be weak betting with a Ten, seems like a Queen bets more. I think most of his range is some kind of Ten, flush draw, and straight draw. Even a hand like QJ I expect to bet more. Maybe not. That could be about right given he called turn but I mean before that.

It's hard for you to represent a believable hand. It looks like you have air. Too dangerous to slowplay a set on this board. It makes no sense to semi-bluff with a draw after he lays you a great price. So, it looks like your range is nothing. And, it is. When your hand is what it looks like and you have nothing, it doesn't really matter if he can think it through or not IMO. He's at least getting the correct price to draw if he thinks you have a monster.

If he missed the flush you rate to have the best hand. Show it down >>> bluffing.

If I have KQo, I prob wait for a blank turn to bomb.

I can have a few reasonable hands I think.

Maybe KJ by the river?
